CONSULTATION

Our staff is available 5 days a week to schedule your private consultation. Dr. Capek will meet with you at our Latham, New York office to listen to your concerns, goals and desires. She will carefully evaluate your unique needs and then discuss in detail the different options available to you. The advantages, disadvantages and alternatives of each approach will be reviewed with you and you will have every opportunity to have your questions answered to your satisfaction. This initial visit is an information and planning session, which will allow you to decide if plastic surgery is right for you. We want you to feel comfortable and confident in your choice to proceed with surgery, or any other procedure we offer.

At your initial consultation you will be given a written estimate of any applicable fees, and the opportunity to schedule your surgery, if you wish. Financing information is also available. Meet our staff and please feel free to contact us with any questions that you may have. We are committed to you throughout your treatment and long after you are healed and recovered.

PATIENT COORDINATOR:

Susan is your primary contact person in our offices throughout the duration of your treatment. She will coordinate all aspects of your care including appointment and procedure scheduling, review of estimates, financial policies, financing info and all general information. She is very knowledgeable about all aspects of our practice and will be happy to help you with any questions you may have.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / RECEPTIONIST:

Pam is an excellent organizer and makes sure that everything in the office is in order and runs smoothly. She also schedules most office appointments and is a great resource for general inquiries. In Susan's absence, Pam takes over the role of Patient Care Coordinator and will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.

PLASTIC SURGERY NURSE:

Karen is our RN, LASER and light-based skin therapy specialist and Certified Nurse Injector. She performs most of these non-invasive treatments under Dr. Capek's direction. Karen also assists Dr. Capek in your surgical care and treatment. Karen is very experienced and knowledgeable and is able to answer most of your medical questions. She will promptly bring any of your medical concerns to Dr. Capek's attention, as the need arises. Karen will also review all of your pre- and post- treatment instructions with you in detail to make sure you understand them clearly.

Karen has a gentle but expert touch. Besides the many treatments she performs, Karen also takes care of patients; dressings, removes sutures and assists Dr. Capek during many office procedures, helping you stay relaxed and comfortable.

MEDICAL AESTHETICIAN:

Kelly is our Skin Care expert and Laser Hair Removal specialist. She is a Board-Certified, NYS licensed aesthetician and graduate of Aesthetic Science Institute in Latham, NY. Kelly has advanced training in all of our physician-grade products and treatments as well as NovaLash Eyelash Extensions.

Kelly is passionate about skin care and is dedicated to educating you about ways to achieve and maintain beautiful skin. She is available to answer any of your questions and provide information on the latest skin care products and treatments, as well as Cutera® laser hair removal.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT:

Kathy is our medical assistant and has over 20 years of experience in the operating room and in plastic surgery. She assists Dr. Capek with office procedures and also helps Karen with many clinical aspects of the practice. Kathy will review your pre- and post-op treatment instructions as well, and can answer many of your medical questions, bringing these to Dr. Capek's attention as the need arises.

Cherie handles these additional administrative aspects of the practice. She has worked in Plastic Surgery for over 20 years and is a valuable member of our staff.
