During your CoolSculpting treatment, you’ll get to sit back, relax, and freeze away unwanted fat. Some treatments can last up to 2 hours, so how do you prepare?  First, it’s important to know what’s on the house. At our practice, we offer a wide variety of amenities for our patients to ensure their comfort and convenience during CoolSculpting treatments.

What We Provide

Robes & Disposable Underwear

Before your treatment we will give you a robe and disposable underwear to change into so that our treatment gel doesn’t stain your clothes during your treatment.

Entertainment

At our practice, we provide free Wi-Fi for all our patients, but our CoolSculpting patients get a little extra perk! We have a TV in our CoolSculpting room equipped with all your favorite streaming services including Netflix, YouTube, and more! Many of our long-session patients like to watch a movie to pass the time!

Refreshments

If you’re feeling a little thirsty during your CoolSculpting treatment, don’t hesitate to ask our team for a complimentary bottle of water! We’re always happy to help!

What to Bring

Comfortable Clothing

Wear loose, comfortable clothing to your appointment to help you feel more relaxed during the treatment. Additionally, you’ll want clothing that’s easy to put on and take off, especially if the treatment area is on a part of the body covered by clothing.

Entertainment

CoolSculpting sessions can last anywhere from 35 minutes to 2 hours per treatment area, so consider bringing along entertainment to help pass the time. If you don’t want to watch TV or a movie, you could bring a book, magazine, tablet, or smartphone. Sometimes, if our patients are feeling really productive, they’ll even do work on their laptop!

Snacks and Hydration

Depending on the duration of your treatment session, you may want to bring along some light snacks keep your energy levels up. You’re also welcome to bring your own water bottle if that’s what you prefer.

Personal Items

Bring any personal items you may need during your appointment, such as a wallet, keys, or mobile phone. You may also want to bring along a charger for your electronic devices in case you need to recharge during the session.

Warm Clothing

Some patients may experience temporary numbness or discomfort in the treatment area during or after the CoolSculpting procedure. We provide a blanket if needed, but bringing along a warm sweater or jacket can also help keep you comfortable if you feel chilly during the treatment.

Questions for Your Provider

If you have any questions or concerns about the CoolSculpting procedure, treatment plan, or aftercare, be sure to write them down and bring them with you to your appointment. Your provider will be happy to address any inquiries you may have.
