If you are unsatisfied with your aging skin due to a natural loss of elastin, collagen, and hyaluronic acid (HA), you may be searching for a filler treatment that is best for you. Our practice offers a variety of fillers to restore your beautiful, young skin, including Belotero Balance®. Belotero Balance is an injectable filler with hyaluronic acid that harmonizes with your existing skin tissue. Belotero Balance is effective in treating severe lines and wrinkles around the lips. Patients throughout the Capital District areas of Albany, Schenectady, Troy and Saratoga trust New York Plastic Surgeon Dr. Lucie Capek to perform their Belotero. Many of our patients also travel from New York City, Vermont, Massachusetts and beyond to receive her skilled and compassionate care.
How Belotero Balance® Works
Belotero Balance is the only facial filler that is created using the Cohesive Polydensified Matrix (CPM) process. This process produces a smooth, flexible gel that seamlessly blends into the structure of your skin to naturally fill stubborn lines and wrinkles. During your treatment, Belotero Balance is injected into targeted areas in a simple, quick appointment, which requires little to no downtime.
After just one treatment, you may notice a dramatic difference in your smile lines, nasolabial folds, vertical lip lines, or chin wrinkles that can last up to 6 months. Individual results vary. Achieve the youthful appearance you deserve, while maintaining your true appearance with this safe and effective injectable treatment.
Is Belotero Balance® right for me?
You may be a good candidate for Belotero Balance if you have overall healthy skin. Treatment may be delayed for patients with skin reactions including pimples, rashes, hives, or cysts until it heals. Also, it’s important to inform our professional providers if you are taking medicines, like aspirin or NSAID, since it may put you at a higher risk of bleeding or bruising at the injection site.
What are the risks?
As with all injections, there is a risk of infection with Belotero Balance. Common side effects may include bruising, swelling, pain, hardening of the skin, and redness, which are generally mild and resolve within one week. It’s important to avoid strenuous activity, sun exposure, aspirin, and alcoholic beverages for 24 hours because it can increase your risk of complications. These risks can be reduced if you follow the specific aftercare instructions, provided for you during your initial consultation.
