What is Laser Genesis?
Laser Genesis is a near-infrared (NIR) Nd:Yag laser with a wavelength of 1064-nm. This non-invasive laser heats up the dermis with micro pulses of laser energy. Laser Genesis is a preventative and corrective skin care treatment that helps to improve the overall health of the skin while reducing redness, tightening pores and stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. Laser Genesis is used to treat mild to moderate skin imperfections and is suitable for most skin types. It is also beneficial for addressing chronic skin conditions such as rosacea, as well as helping to diminish the effects of acne scarring and discoloration. Best results are seen with a series of treatments.

The Treatment Process
Laser Genesis is a relaxed comfortable treatment and most patients find it to be completely painless. While being treated, you will experience a comfortable, gentle warming sensation in the treatment area. Laser Genesis works by gently heating the skin and stimulating new collagen production below the skin’s surface to restore volume and renew healthy, glowing skin. Collagen regrowth is a process so you will gradually see results build over time.
Laser Genesis Results and Recovery
You can expect to see subtle, consistent results after each treatment but six treatments are recommended for optimal results. You will have no downtime with Laser Genesis but slight redness post-treatment is common; it usually disappears within an hour’s time and can be less. Over the course of 6 treatments, Laser Genesis can help restore the skin’s youthful, even-textured appearance. You will see a more even healthy complexion, a reduction in pores size, and minor fine lines diminished and the overall end result can be remarkable.
