What is TempSure Envi?
TempSure Envi is a non-invasive treatment option used to reduce the appearance of facial fine lines and wrinkles. The system uses radiofrequency energy to heat deep layers of tissue, stimulating the body’s natural collagen production for stronger, more youthful skin.
Who is a Candidate for TempSure Envi Treatments?
As we age, our bodies begin to produce less collagen, the key to our skin’s structure. This results in skin laxity (loose skin) with fine lines and wrinkles. If you experience these signs of aging in the face such as forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet, smile lines, and more, you could benefit from skin tightening treatments like Tempsure Envi.
The system is effective at treating mild to moderate signs of aging and is great for those who are not ready for a more invasive procedure like a facelift. The gentle treatment is safe for all skin types and can be performed any time of the year, even if you have a tan.
The Treatment Process
The TempSure Envi treatment process is completely noninvasive, so no anesthesia is required. To begin treatment, a cooling gel will be applied to the skin. Using the appropriate TempSure Envi handpiece, radiofrequency is delivered to heat deep layers of tissue and stimulate the growth of new collagen fibers. The system uses controlled temperature to keep the skin from becoming too hot, making for a comfortable treatment process.
As radiofrequency is being delivered, the skin is massaged in small circular motions. Once complete, the skin cools to its normal temperature. The treatment process typically takes about 30-60 minutes, depending on the size of your treatment area. You can see younger-looking skin after just one treatment, but for optimal results, you may require three to six treatment sessions, spaced one to four weeks apart.
Results and Recovery
After treatment with TempSure Envi, there is no downtime so you can get back to your normal routine, including exercise. You might experience some redness immediately after treatment due to the rise in your skin’s temperature, however, this should disappear very quickly.
In just two to three days, you may notice a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. In the next few weeks, your skin will begin the collagen-rebuilding process. Tissue growth factors are released, stimulating the production of new collagen and elastin. After about a month, these collagen and elastin fibers will have created the structure your skin needs for a tighter, more youthful appearance. Maximum improvement occurs up to 3 months after your last treatment.
