As we age, we lose volume and tone in the various facial tissues, including skin, fat, muscle, and bone. This creates a tired or sad appearance, especially around the eyes. This beautiful patient wanted to reverse some of these changes for a brighter, more rested appearance.
To rejuvenate and optimize this upper part of her face I performed a temporal browlift, upper lid blepharoplasty and autologous fat transfer to add volume under her eyes and cheekbones. The net effect of these minimally invasive procedures is a soft, natural lift and less tired appearance.
This patient came to me after having had an upper blepharoplasty and direct browlift done elsewhere but still feeling like she looked tired. She had no extra skin in the upper lids but her brows sloped down at the sides, sitting below her brow bones. This is her result after I performed an endo browlift through small incisions hidden in her scalp, and some fat transfer to soften the temples. She looks more bright-eyed with this subtle change
