She knew she had a ruptured silicone implant on the right and a bulge near her armpit that increases each time she flexed her pec muscle. Her breasts were also hard and uncomfortable from capsular contracture. These implants were placed over 20 years ago through axillary incisions.
During surgery, I discovered a large pocket of leaking silicone in the right armpit, stuck under her pectoralis muscle. Removing it required reopening the axillary scar. A very unusual finding in implant revision surgery!
