This case presents a fascinating example of tailored facial rejuvenation for a patient with unique anatomical considerations. My lovely patient sought a refreshed appearance, feeling that her current look conveyed an undesired sense of fatigue. What made her case particularly intriguing was her challenging orbital anatomy, characterized by strikingly large eyes. This feature, while beautiful, increased her risk of potential complications such as dry eye syndrome following blepharoplasty. To address her concerns while prioritizing her ocular health, we crafted a carefully customized treatment plan. The approach included an upper blepharoplasty to rejuvenate the eye area, complemented by a temporal browlift to subtly elevate and refresh the upper face. Additionally, I performed facial fat grafting, which served a dual purpose: it provided crucial support to her lower lids and softened the overall improvement, ensuring a natural-looking result. This combination of techniques allowed us to achieve the desired refreshed appearance while mitigating risks associated with her unique eye structure. The outcome beautifully demonstrates how a nuanced understanding of facial anatomy, combined with a tailored surgical approach, can yield impressive results even in complex cases.
