What to Expect During Your Procedure
Before the procedure, you take the prescribed antibiotic and sedative. Dr. Capek then numbs the area with local anesthesia, and makes three tiny entry points beneath your chin and earlobes. A slim laser fiber is inserted to melt excess fat which is then gently suctioned out, sculpting your neck and jawline. The laser is then reinserted to heat the underside of the skin, triggering deep collagen remodeling for a firming, lifting effect. The procedure is comfortable, typically takes under 90 minutes, and ends with a light Velcro wrap applied for 2 days to help limit swelling.
